My favourite Japanese group. Shame they've essentially disbanded. Their music can be very dark and haunting. I could listen to "Chimamirareta Kajitsu" & "Shiroi Hada ni Kuruu ai to Kanashimi no RONDO" over and over...
My favourite Anime voice actor, as well as one of my favourite Japanese music artists. She has an adorable voice and makes really catchy music. :D
This isn't a band, but rather a type of music. It would take years to list all the composers/ensembles I like. Mediaeval, Renaissance & Baroque (the term 'early music' cuts off at around 1750 AD I believe, when the Baroque period ends)
I bought "Americana" in 1998 and it was my favourite album for a while. It's still my favourite of theirs. Fav songs are "Pay the Man", "The Kids Aren't Alright" and "Self Esteem".
One of the first industrial-dance bands [aside from NIN] I started liking. "Too Dark Park" is my fav album and "Grave Wisdom" my fav song.
None of their albums have ever let me down. I love them.
My favourite album is "White Blood Cells" and I have yet to listen to "Icky Thump" but I hope it'll be good!
I might prefer their older music a bit, but overall I like them. Some favourite songs are "Deception", "Bloodline v2.0" and "Last Breath".

Seemingly obscure New Wave artist. I seem to be one of the few who's even heard of him [I can barely find anything on the net, anyhow], but I LOVE his music. I own most of his output on vinyl, and have yet to successfully record it to my computer. :(
Jimmy Somerville has a neat voice. He was also in "The Communards" who are equally as awesome. My fav songs are "Why" and "Smalltown Boy". I own "Age of Consent" on vinyl and it's a really good album.
Danny Elfman's band, if you don't already know. Fantastic.

Fcking brilliant goth rock band of the 90s...though I don't think the music on their Myspace page is indicative of that [they didn't list any of my favourites, I'm biased.] but they were great. Listen to the song "Celibacy & Anadin".

'nother favourite. I have a real love-hate thing with Uncle Andy. Like Severin, he's got the pompous asshat thing going on but at least he used to be somewhat enigmatic what with that voice of his. Even if he does disrespect 75% of his fanbase.
Another much loved band...Siouxsie Sioux is my goddess. Much love to Budgie & John McGeoch [god rest his soul]. but I don't like Severin cos he's a sad sac. :(
